Dr. Frank Catapano

Hillcrest Dental Centre
Dr. Frank Catapano attended the University of Western Ontario and earned his degree at UWO School of Dentistry in 1984.

Dr. Catapano is one of the founding members of the Hillcrest Dental team. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in both implant surgery and implant restoration.

Dr. Catapano is fluent in Italian and he loves being busy raising his two boys and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoys growing Giant Pumpkins, cooking, fitness and the outdoors.

Dr. Marshall Kochberg

Hillcrest Dental Centre
A University of Toronto graduate, Dr. Marshall Kochberg enjoyed private family practice in Thornhill, Ontario prior to opening Hillcrest Dental Centre in 1983.

He is a Charter active member of the Toronto Dentistry Implant Study club and the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Kochberg has a great interest in reconstructive, cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Dr. Kochberg has served the Thornhill and Richmond Hill community for over 33 years. He enjoys fishing, golf, water sports, fitness and jogging and especially loves being a grandfather.

Dr. Gerald Vanderpluym

Hillcrest Dental Centre
Dr. Gerald Vanderpluym was born in Oshawa, Ontario and graduated with an honours degree in Pharmacology and received his dental degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1984.

Dr. Vanderpluym founded Hillcrest Dental Centre with Dr. Kochberg and Dr. Catapano. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and International Association of Orthodontists.

With three active teenagers, family life seems to take up most of his personal time; however, Dr. Vanderpluym still finds time to enjoy sailing, snowboarding, skiing, hockey, curling and cycling.

Dr. Margaret Wong

Hillcrest Dental Centre
Dr. Margaret Wong joined Hillcrest Dental Centre practice in 1985, two years after receiving her dental degree from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Wong's work philosophy is simple: she considers herself not only a "tooth doctor", but is also interested in the overall healthcare of her patients. Teamwork is essential to her, and she believes that the excellent staff at Hillcrest Dental Centre complements her on-going commitment to her patients' dental care. Dr. Wong is especially interested in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

When Dr. Wong is not in the office, she is at home raising her three children, another full time job. She also enjoys cooking, reading and volunteering for her church. She is currently studying Mandarin Chinese in order to reach a broader patient base and is fluent in Cantonese Chinese as well.

Dr. Lindsay Greisman

Hillcrest Dental Centre
Dr. Lindsay Greisman decided on a career in dentistry at the early age of ten. She completed her undergraduate studies in anatomy and cell biology at McGill University in Montreal. She went on to study dentistry at New York University where she completed an honours program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

In addition to her clinical training, Lindsay devoted most of her free time to her role as President of Student Council of the College of Dentistry. She received the President's Service Award for Leadership and the Pierre Fauchard Award for outstanding academic achievements.

Lindsay returned to Toronto and completed the Mount Sinai Hospital dental residency program and spent time practicing dentistry in a remote village in Northern Ontario.

The aspects of dentistry that Lindsay enjoys most are interacting with patients and serving her community to increase awareness of the importance of good oral health. When she is not practicing dentistry, Lindsay enjoys fitness, playing softball, waterskiing, traveling and spending time with her family. She looks forward to meeting you and your family and making your dental visit a positive experience.

Dr Tehchin Hsieh

Hillcrest Dental Centre
Dr Tehchin Hsieh was born and raised in India, into a family of dentists; as a result he has been involved with dentistry from a very young age. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, first class, from the University of Pune (India).

He graduated from the University of Toronto, with an honours degree in dentistry. Dr Hsieh is the recipient of numerous scholarship awards for outstanding achievement, including the George Hare Endodontic Study Club Award, Albert E Webster Memorial award for restorative dentistry, to name a couple.

Dr Hsieh is passionate about his practice of dentistry and takes great pride in building family relationships, while helping patients in all walks of life. He is dedicated to providing a great patient experience along with a modern and scientific approach to the practice of dentistry. He is continually enriching his education, for the benefit of his patients. He is also involved in research and teaching at the University of Toronto.

Dr Hsieh is fluent in English, Hindi and can speak and understand Hupeh (a Chinese dialect unique to his Chinese ancestry). He enjoys staying fit by playing soccer, squash, badminton and swimming. He looks forward to meeting you and your family at your next visit to Hillcrest Dental Centre.
