Dr. Elena Ma

Dr. Elena Ma graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science Kinesiology degree from McMaster University and went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Western University. Born and raised in York Region, she is happy to be home and working with the Hillcrest Dental team. 

Dr. Ma is committed to providing the highest quality, patient-centered, comprehensive dental care to the Richmond Hill community. Her work philosophy is simple: she considers herself not only a "tooth doctor” but also cares about the overall health and well-being of her patients. Dr. Ma enjoys learning about the unique dental backgrounds of her patients, ensuring they are well-informed about their oral health, and prioritizes having a comfortable experience in the dental chair.

Her passion has led to volunteering with the Jamaica Dental Mission in Montego Bay, an outreach program providing dental care for under-serviced communities in need. In addition, Dr. Ma strives for excellence in her dental practice through continuing education courses and participation in study clubs. She is an active member of the York Region Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Outside the office, Dr. Ma enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active through various sports, reading, and exploring the great outdoors.
